Xbox 360 Arcade Cabinet

Xbox 360 Arcade Cabinet

The Xbox 360 Arcade Cabinet is an old midway arcade cabinet retrofitted with an Xbox 360 gaming console inside it that offers a long, immersive gaming session. The arcade machine that costs you around $2,250 is especially designed for those hardcore arcade gamers looking for the ultimate way to play arcade-style fighting games in full HD. Unlike other upright arcade machines, this one allows you to smash your on-screen enemy’s face while lying on the bed with the help of motion-sensing Xbox 360 controller.

Bailout Game

Bailout Game

The Bailout Game is a fun little diversion while you’re waiting for the end of the world to arrive. As you travel down Wall St you’ll have to make decisions as to which banks to save and which to send to the knacker’s yard. Choose wisely and you’ll stay ahead of that nasty recession (hah!), make a gaff and we’ll all suffer for a long long time. Good luck, we’re depending on you.

Star Wars Force Trainer

Star Wars Force Trainer

This has got to be the best and most humorous use of brain wave technology. Just like all the other brain wave games this one gives you an obstacle you have to accomplish by focusing and thinking hard on moving the object. The more you concentrate, the better you’ll do. Although the obstacle course with this one is far more simple than the Mindflex, it has plenty of geek appeal. This one adds a Star Wars spin to the concept, which means there will likely be no shortage of fans pursuing this game.

Sixtyfree Lite-R

Sixtyfree Lite-R

Modding those consoles, who knows it better than the DIYer at the Ben Heck forum? We’ve seen novelties rolled out by him, and all have been appreciated. The latest from the forum is Sifuf’s Nintendo Sixtyfree Lite-R with a 5-inch screened portable N64, which too deserves a noted mention. Adorned in the original plastic makeover, the ultra-portable N64 mod has all the features and buttons of the actual controller but is more graceful with headphone jack space and C-button stick, but no batteries included.

Soul Calibur IV (x5)

Soul Calibur IV (x5)

Soul Calibur IV was released in late July to raving reviews from gaming media. The fourth installment in the Soul Calibur series included new characters, guest appearances from the Star Wars galaxy and finally an online component allowing players to face off on the web. A character customization element makes this game even more immersive, allowing players to build their own Soul Calibur fighter from the ground up. Beyond the normal Soul Calibur realm, Darth Vader, Yoda and a secret apprentice appear as fully playable characters which compete in the Soul Calibur IV arena.

Spore

Spore

From cell to space, today is your chance to play god like never before. One of the most long-awaited titles in gaming has released today, the creature creater game of Spore. Spore allows its users to create intergalactic empires starting with a single cell. In Spore’s early stages, the user helps single-celled organisms evolve in reaction to environmental stimuli, building what will become an animal and later a sentient being. The player’s creatures will then band together in tribes and cities, develop new technologies and finally stage a conquest for the stars. This game is

Fallout 3

Fallout 3

It has been 10 long years since a Fallout title hit shelves. At 12:01a.m. this morning, Fallout 3 was released in the US by Bethesda Softworks to a frenzied acclaim by press and fans alike. Official Xbox Magazine gave it a 10 out of 10. Gamespot gave it a 9 out of 10. IGN gave the game a 9.6 out of 10. For those of you who can’t wait to get out of work to pick up your own copy, we’ve got those reviews and more details here:

Games 3rd Space Vest

Games 3rd Space Vest

Nintendo has long had an affinity for attempting to make motion-sensing gaming feel real. With this in mind, motion-sensing gaming has shown that gamers want to be more than passive participants. They want to be totally immersed in the video gaming experience. Enter the TN Games 3rd Space Vest. Strap it on and a built-in air compressor controls eight pneumatic cells that produce pressure whenever and wherever your onscreen avatar takes a midgame blow. Ever wanted to know what it feels like when Master Chief takes a shot? Now you know.

Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia

Our idea here is to give you an update on the latest games and happenings in video game land. If you’re a PC user, now’s the time to pick up Prince of Persia, which dropped for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 last week. I’ve had a chance to play most of the game, and it’s great fun if you enjoy running across walls and ceilings instead of solid ground. An award is also due here for least annoying female supporting character. Princess Elika actually aides your leaps and bounds, and rarely gets in the way.
