Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee 1.0

In a world run by ruthless meat barons, your entire race is about to become pie filling, and unless you can escape RuptureFarms and make it through a few hurdles, puzzles, and other obstacles, you'll be added to the meatloaf as well. Oddworld bills itself as a Brave-New-World kind of interaction. Communicate with real characters. Possess and blow away your enemies. Solve wicked situations.

This game is a classic adventure in which you play an enslaved creature named Abe who decides to flee. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee doesn't really have an installation process; it just unpacks, you launch the EXE file from that folder, and the game starts. Abe, who resembles Gollum from the Lord of the Rings movies, goes around finding his people and leading them through a maze to freedom. Instead of fighting the monsters, he moves the floor out from under them. He can die from bombs, electroshock barriers, or gunfire. A brilliant tutorial within the demo helps you keep Abe alive. The demo is a lot of fun and quite addictive.
