New Dominoes 2.0
A challenging dominoes game with new features and more realistic game play. It features a new and improved AI, graphics, sounds, music, and animations, and single or partnership gameplay. There are four levels of difficulty (easy, medium, hard, and master), and multiple rules and ways of scoring (Standard, Gaple, and Five-Up). The game has seven amazing card sets, 20 background images, and 13 full background music/MIDIs. You can play in a world championship and submit scores to the Internet.
As dominoes distractions go, New Dominoes offers plenty of challenge, though the interface could use some updating. You can play single dominoes games or tournaments with several scoring systems. The computer is a strong player, so you may need to enlist a friend if you want to beat the AI here. Game graphics are decent, and there are several tile sets. However, tiles can be difficult to see on some backgrounds, and menu design is stuck in the 20th century. Sound is heavy on the techno MIDI tracks. Unfortunately, you can t save games. Dominoes addicts may need to try New Dominoes, but the game probably won't captivate beginners.
